The Company:
11th Street Fitness is a unique one to one personal Training company directed by Tricia Brouk. Tricia emphasizes that her company is unique because she and her staff integrate fitness and body awareness into everyday life. Tricia works with each member of her team so that there is a continuity of method. Each trainer has his or her own personal style based on a common approach to fitness.
The Session:
A personalized program can be designed to meet each need of the individual. Whether you want to lose weight, strengthen muscle, increase flexibility, run a marathon, practice Yoga, or you have special needs regarding an injury, we can create a program that helps you achieve your personal goals in the privacy of your own home or gym.
Each session is approximately fifty minutes long. After an initial health screening and careful assessment of your current physical capabilities, you and Tricia can determine your immediate and long range goals and how often you would like to work out with a trainer. Based on this information, your personalized training program will be formulated and either Tricia or one of her team will be selected to help you reach your goals. 11th Street Fitness trainers are certified fitness professionals and have related degrees and are certified in Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). They also have extensive teaching experience and are experts on the body.
The History:
Tricia has been working as a Certified Personal Trainer since 1992. She is also a professional dancer and choreographer working very closely on alignment and technique of movement in everyday life. Tricia has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and is certified by the American Council on Exercise. She also is a certified Reebok Cycle teacher.
The Methods:
11th Street Fitness provides aerobics, weight training, stretching techniques, pool fitness, pre/post natal fitness, Yoga and Pilates.
The Clients:
Tricia's client base is truly varied. She works with fit people who want to improve their already high level of fitness, couples who want to work out together, the older population, special needs such as muscular sclerosis, congenital palsy, troubled youth through the Lineage Project, and she also works with celebrities.
